Last year many of you participated in the silent auction to raise extra funding for Belen. It was a beautifully effective way to come together as a community. Thank you for all who participated! The video below shows how some of that money was used.

This year

We are hoping to come together by simply giving. The leaders there have requested funding for Tutoring Materials (children’s books, literacy and math curriculum) to support the kids during their after-school program. Funds also support our annual visit where we get to spend special time with the kids and community leaders. This year we will go on a field trip together again (we’ve gone to a Children’s Museum and an Amusement Park before), have a catered meal and half-day retreat in appreciation for their after-school ministry leaders (all volunteers!), and provide gifts for around 60 kids and 20 adults. Your donation will also help send a small crew from All Souls to get to know and encourage our friends at Iglesia Belen.

Our goal is $5,000

$5,000 will go towards the following expenses:

$1,500: Tutoring Materials (Books, Literacy & Math Curriculum)
$750: Field Trip Experience during our visit
$500: Leader Appreciation Day
$1,250: Gifts for Kids & Leaders
$1,000: Scholarships for crew from All Souls to Visit
