Our Journey Together As Women

“I am the fiery life of the essence of God; I am the flame above the beauty in the fields; I shine in the waters; I burn in the sun, the moon, and the stars. And with the airy wind, I quicken all things vitally by an unseen, all-sustaining life."
Hildegard of Bingen -11th Century Abbess

We as women are nurturing, relational, and instinctual. We have an inclination toward ritual and ceremony and are guided by intuition. It is only be natural that we would yearn for and benefit from faith that draws from sacred tradition and flows freely through our body, spirit, and soul.

This series of women's circles is led by Carol Kortsch. Carol has a decade of experience leading circles of many kinds and is committed to facilitating a safe and challenging space where we can each listen what our hearts are trying to tell us.

During this contemplative time, we will...

  • acknowledge spiritual/liturgical seasons and the nature-based passages of our personal lives as women

  • honor the “thin places” where the visible and invisible meet

  • respect, remember, and re-story our Judeo-Christian tradition and earth-based rituals, especially of Celtic tradition

  • reclaim the connection of the Divine feminine and the stories of our land and people

There is no commitment to have attended previous or attend future circles is necessary. Please join us as you are able.

Please RSVP

*Lunch not included, but coffee and tea will be provided.

When the female voice is repressed and stifled, the entire community can easily find themselves cut off from the sacred feminine, depriving themselves of the full image of god.
Rob Bell

"Changing the dream may really mean to see the world completely differently – as indigenous people do. They see a world that is totally sufficient, animated with spirit, intelligent, mystical, responsive, and creative—constantly generating and re-generating itself in harmony with the great diversity of resources that support and collaborate with one another through the mystery of life … each human being having an infinite capacity to create, collaborate, and contribute."
