Our Journey Together As Women

“I am the fiery life of the essence of God; I am the flame above the beauty in the fields; I shine in the waters; I burn in the sun, the moon, and the stars. And with the airy wind, I quicken all things vitally by an unseen, all-sustaining life."
Hildegard of Bingen -11th Century Abbess

We as women are nurturing, relational, and instinctual. We have an inclination toward ritual and ceremony and are guided by intuition. It is only be natural that we would yearn for and benefit from faith that draws from sacred tradition and flows freely through our body, spirit, and soul.

This series of women's circles is led by Carol Kortsch. Carol has a decade of experience leading circles of many kinds and is committed to facilitating a safe and challenging space where we can each listen what our hearts are trying to tell us.

During this contemplative time, we will...

  • acknowledge spiritual/liturgical seasons and the nature-based passages of our personal lives as women

  • honor the “thin places” where the visible and invisible meet

  • respect, remember, and re-story our Judeo-Christian tradition and earth-based rituals, especially of Celtic tradition

  • reclaim the connection of the Divine feminine and the stories of our land and people

There is no commitment to have attended previous or attend future circles is necessary. Please join us as you are able.

As part of our Women's Circles: Christ Spirit & Earth Body

St Brigid’s Day and Women’s Day Celebration

Join the women of All Souls as we celebrate Women and St. Brigid’s day. We will celebrate together the embodiment of what she represents, as well as our power and strength as women. We will share a potluck dinner and a time of guided discussion at our tables, lead by elder women from the Boulder community. There will be time for dance, sharing, and reflection.

Brigid is the force behind grand ideas and simple comforts.  She is direct, quick, enlightening, and enlivening.  She is the shaft of lightning or the glowing candle that illuminates our world.  Fast, furious, bold, and strong, she arrives quickly and departs just as fast, leaving behind a brighter mind or soul or heart.  Brigid’s gifts lie not in what she brings to you, but rather in casting light on what you can bring to the world. ~ Michelle Skye
