Join the women of All Souls for a time of corporate learning, individual reflection, and fellowship at the Franciscan Retreat Center in Colorado Springs. Spiritual director Tara Owens, CSD, CSDS will be leading the retreat this year.
Tara Owens, CSD, CSDS is the founder and executive director of Anam Cara Ministries, where she been accompanying others in their journeys with God for more than 13 years. An author, spiritual director, and supervisor, Tara’s deep longing is to see others move toward wholeness with themselves, with God, with their communities, and with the world. She is the author of two books, Embracing the Body: Finding God in Our Flesh & Bone (IVP, 2015) and At Play In God’s Creation: A Contemplative Coloring Book (Franciscan, 2017), and numerous articles. Tara practices spiritual direction both in person and at a distance, and holds a Masters of Theological Studies in Spiritual Formation (Tyndale Seminary). She runs an apprenticeship in spiritual direction with Anam Cara Ministries, and is on staff with Stewards of the Mystery, a spiritual direction training program in the Pacific Northwest. In addition, she teaches rabbinic Scripture study groups and trains others in the process of wrestling with God and the Word in community. Tara believes we are all a mix of doubt and faith, brokenness and restoration, laughter and grief—that we are God-wrestlers to the core of our beings. She lives out her practice and her own wrestlings in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and daughter, along with their rescue dog, Brother Juniper.
The cost of the one night stay at the Franciscan Retreat Center, with 3 meals included, is $85 dollars. All women will have a single bed in a shared room.
As much as we love little ones, we will not be able to accommodate babies for this specific retreat. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We are all full for the retreat, but there is always a chance that plans will change and people will not be able to make it. So please sign up on the wait list if you are interested!
